Scope
What comes in
The connector requests customers, invoices, credit memos, payments, and estimates, up to the plan's history depth. It does not request anything else.
History depth is set by plan, and the first backfill can only read what the connected book actually holds.
A file with eighteen months of trading history gives eighteen months of baseline, whatever the plan allows.

Limits
What stays untouched
Customer revenue only
Payroll, banking, and the chart of accounts are out of scope beyond what is needed to identify customer revenue.
Intuit offers one broad Accounting API grant, not a narrower read-only permission.
ChurnRisk enforces read-only use in its own transport: every accounting request is a GET, and no product path issues a write.

Freshness
When the data goes stale
In production, QuickBooks notifications are paired with scheduled reconciliation because events can be missed or arrive out of order.
If the connection goes stale, the product says so and lowers confidence. Stale data is never silently presented as fresh.

Start with your history
Connecting starts a historical backfill so baselines are learned from existing history.
Most files complete the same day. Larger files take longer, and the connection screen shows live progress instead of a spinner.
Reversible
Leave with your data
Disconnect any time in two clicks. Your data can be exported before or after, and deletion on request removes derived signals as well as raw records.
Cancelling your subscription never locks you out of your own evidence.
What is kept after a deletion request is the audit evidence that the deletion happened, which does not contain the deleted content.
